GLASS FUSING WORKSHOP

Beginners Welcome, no previous experience necessary

Open to General Public ages 14 and older

Price: $45.00 (Materials and Tools to use included)

Come learn how to create your own fused glass artware that can become a pendant and/or earrings!

Students will learn about color theory, how to score and cut glass safely, and combine layers of sparkling color to then be fired in a kiln.

Expand the art and appeal for culinary hospitality by creating your very own savory samples of sauces, spices, and salads.  Guests will explore the versatility of pairing flavors and textures resulting in attractive appetizer trays.

This workshop will include:

The Culinary Experience, Creating from scratch:  pesto sauce, pickled veggies, spiced nuts, and a caprese salad.

Arrangement and choices for a balanced palate of salty, crunchy, chewy, colorful, briny, meaty, and creamy.

Taste Test: A variety of cured meats, tangy pickles, sweet jams, cheeses, fresh and dried fruit

Appetizer Boards are an essential visual component to complete this unique culinary experience. We recommend purchasing one of SEEDs for Autism’s handcrafted appetizer boards which will be available during the event (prices range from $22 - $55). In addition, SEEDs also has a wide selection of handmade accouterments to dazzle and enhance your design. All purchases of $50 and over during this class will receive $5.00 off the total.

Price includes culinary class, and a variety of savory selections to sample and nibble from.
