LOOKING FOR AN OPPORTUNITY TO VOLUNTEER FOR SUMMER CAMP AT SEEDs for Autism?
SEEDs for Autism is a nonprofit organization located in downtown Phoenix, that works with youth and adults impacted with autism.
Come join the fun for hands on activities assisting alongside campers. Camp sessions include: Science, Art, Music, Physical Activities, Drama, Cooking, Social Skills and more.
Volunteers will lead or assist with hands-on camp activities for students with autism ages 14 and up.
Ideal candidate will have:
some experience working with special needs youth
works well as a team
is flexible and can think on their feet
enjoys helping others learn
is supportive and patient
likes to be creative
is energetic and friendly
can be a leader to others when necessary
positive communication skills and coaching methods depending on student needs
has transportation and able to be on time
Our summer sessions fall on the following dates Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays from 9am – 2pm

Session 2 - June _ (TBD)
Session 3 - July _ (TBD)
It is required that all volunteers attend a Volunteer Orientation and tour of the facility (dates and times will be announced 3 weeks prior to our first session)
